Detail Connect gives you a marketplace where customers can find you and book instantly, with travel fees calculated by distance, all for $43 a month. TwoBucket gives you a booking page where customers send requests with their vehicle’s condition and photos, so you can quote before confirming anything, for $20 a month. The right pick depends on whether you want a marketplace where customers find detailers or a request-and-quote workflow that gives you more information up front.

We make TwoBucket. The Detail Connect facts below come from its website and its App Store listing, checked November 3, 2026.

What Detail Connect does that TwoBucket doesn’t

Detail Connect’s biggest advantage is its marketplace. Customers looking for a detailer can use the marketplace to find your business and book on the spot. If you are still building your client base and want to be listed where customers look for detailers, that matters.

Instant booking is the other difference. Customers pick a time, enter their vehicle details and the appointment is set. That suits detailers who run fixed-price packages.

Detail Connect also calculates travel fees by distance, which is useful if you cover a wide service area and want that cost reflected in the price automatically.

Its iPhone app is rated 4.89★ from 1,055 ratings.

What TwoBucket does differently

TwoBucket treats every booking as a request, not a confirmed appointment. The customer picks their vehicle type (or enters make, model and year), selects the services and add-ons they want, marks the vehicle’s condition from a list that includes pet hair, stains, odor, sand, heavy dirt, mold, food and grease, and can attach photos and notes. You see all of that before you confirm or quote.

That is the main difference: you see the job before you commit to a price or a time.

From there, the quoting and invoicing workflow stays inside TwoBucket. The editor starts from the customer’s request with services already priced. You can send an estimate (including price ranges), a quote the customer approves online, or an invoice. Send any of those by text from your own phone, by email from TwoBucket, or as a link.

For payments, US businesses connect their own Stripe or Square account. Invoices show a Pay button, the money goes to you, and TwoBucket adds no fee on top of what Stripe or Square charges. You can also mark an invoice paid by cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, bank transfer or check.

Your booking page lives at bookr.page/your-business. You can embed it inside your website, set it up as a pop-up or floating button, link it from your Instagram bio or Google Business Profile, or print it as a QR code on any of the 12 marketing pieces TwoBucket generates (business cards, door hangers, flyers, gift certificates and more). The page works in 15 languages and 36 currencies with six color themes.

Other things included at $20 a month: automated reminder emails the day before a visit (and texts to US numbers when the customer opted in), rebooking reminders at 1, 2, 3 or 6 months, review requests by text or email after a job, before-and-after photos on each job, a job timer, earnings tracking with per-hour and per-job stats exportable as CSV, calendar sync to Google Calendar, Outlook or iCloud, and a customer list with up to five vehicles per customer.

TwoBucket does not offer instant time-slot booking, deposits, a marketplace, crew logins, team scheduling, routing or travel fees worked out by distance.

Detail Connect and TwoBucket prices

Detail Connect costs $43 a month, purchased in the app. That one plan includes instant booking, the marketplace, and travel fees by distance. Additional text messages cost $4.99 per 100. In-app payments are listed as coming soon; today, payments are handled outside the app. There is a 7-day trial.

TwoBucket costs $20 a month, or $191.64 a year ($15.97 a month). That single plan includes every feature: requests with condition and photos, estimates, quotes, invoices, card payments through your own Stripe or Square (US businesses), reminders, rebooking emails, review requests, marketing materials and the booking page. There is a 7-day free trial with no card required. No setup fee, cancel anytime.

The monthly difference is $23. Over a year, that is $276 less with TwoBucket on monthly billing, or $324.36 less on TwoBucket’s yearly plan.

Questions

Is TwoBucket a good Detail Connect alternative for a mobile detailer?

It is, if you already have a way to find customers and what you need is a request-and-quote workflow. TwoBucket gives you vehicle condition details, photos and notes on every request, plus quoting and invoicing with card payments into your own Stripe or Square account (US businesses), for $20 a month. What you give up is the Detail Connect marketplace and instant booking.

Can customers book instantly on TwoBucket?

No. Customers send a request with their vehicle details, condition, photos and a preferred date and time window. Nothing is booked until you review the request and confirm. This is intentional: it lets you price the job based on what you actually see before anything is locked in.

Does Detail Connect handle payments?

In-app payments are listed as coming soon. Today, payments are handled outside the app. TwoBucket lets US businesses connect Stripe or Square so customers can pay invoices by card directly, with no TwoBucket fee on top of the processor’s standard rates.

Do I need the TwoBucket app?

No. TwoBucket works in any phone or computer browser. The iPhone and Android apps are included and add push notifications for new requests, but they are optional.
